The 2021 ZERO Prostate Cancer Summit is Virtual
Every year, the prostate cancer community looks forward to the annual ZERO Prostate Cancer Summit to learn and make a difference for men and families.
Due to COVID-19, we won't be gathering in person, but are instead taking the same Summit experience you know and love online! In this new, virtual setting, you'll be able to connect with others, chat with experts, attend sessions as your schedule allows (before, during or after the Summit), and more! And, best of all, registration is free!
If you want to know the newest disease developments, come together with peers, and feel empowered by knowledge, you won't want to miss the most impactful gathering in our community! Stay tuned as more sessions and speakers are announced, but head to the Summit website to meet already-announced speakers, such as sexual health expert Dr. Rachel Rubin, and keynote speaker, Dr. Mark Moyad, an expert on cancer nutrition and wellness.
You Helped Raise $60K in 30 Days
Wow, you did it! You and hundreds of other generous donors gave a gift to ZERO's COVID-19 Support Fund and helped raise $60,000 in matched funds, since every gift given was doubled! Because of you, direct help was ready for men and families who need it most in the face of this pandemic. Thank you!
Your support during Prostate Cancer Awareness Month was more critical than ever, as many more patients are struggling both financially and emotionally. Jamie Bearse, ZERO CEO, has a special message of gratitude. Click below to watch!

PROVENGE: Effective at Extending Lives
Did you know that PROVENGE (Sipuleucel-T) is the only FDA-approved immunotherapy vaccine treatment for prostate cancer? PROVENGE is used in men with metastatic castrate-resistant, asymptomatic prostate cancer (mCRPC).
As a personalized immunotherapy that activates the immune system to help fight advanced prostate cancer, PROVENGE has shown it can help men live longer. Immunotherapy uses the patient's own immune system to fight cancer.
A several-year-long study (called PROCEED), with thousands of patients, evaluated the real-world use of PROVENGE in men with asymptomatic or minimally symptomatic mCRPC, found that PROVENGE extends life in men with mCRPC and underscores its added effectiveness in African American men.
The data from PROCEED suggests that African American men exhibit survival differences compared with Caucasian men when treated with PROVENGE, especially at lower PSA values. No other prostate cancer treatment has shown this level of added benefit in African American men with mCRPC.
Learn more about the PROCEED study and PROVENGE and whether it's right for you.
A PAR-fect Chance to Give Back
On Sunday, November 1, there's a new way to make an impact and have fun at the same time with ZERO's first-ever virtual Tee-Off to End Prostate Cancer!
Whether you're a regular on the course, or a newbie to putt putt, anyone can participate in the virtual Tee-Off from anywhere! Plus, you'll be able to see what others around the country are doing via livestreamed coverage starting at 2:00 p.m. Eastern.
There are no limits in ways to participate in the virtual Tee-Off! Create your own experience — whether you play 18 holes with a friend, take your kids for a round of socially distanced mini-golf, or hit up the driving range, you'll be making a difference for patients impacted by COVID-19. Whatever you do, be sure to share your photos by sending them to socialmedia@zerocancer.org, or post on social media with the hashtag #ZEROstrong.
Prostate Cancer Research Study
Have you been diagnosed with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer? Have you been told you have DNA Damage Repair (DDR) deficiencies? You may be eligible to take part in a clinical trial studying a potential treatment for men with this type of cancer. The TALAPRO-2 study is evaluating the safety of the study drug when taken with enzalutamide, an existing, approved treatment for metastatic prostate cancer. It will look at whether this drug combination can help keep tumors under control for longer than enzalutamide alone.

Share What You Know About Genetic Testing
Men with prostate cancer may have inherited a genetic mutation. Genetic testing can provide information for treatment decisions and provide family members with their risk of cancer. Take a quick survey to help more men receive access to genetic testing.
