Double Your Holiday Gift
The prostate cancer community is counting on YOU this holiday season. Every gift made through December 31 will be DOUBLED to provide lifesaving support to patients and families in urgent need.
Families faced with the pain caused by prostate cancer feel it more than ever during the end of the year. Every gift helps to provide hope during this time. Hope for a treatment breakthrough. Hope for financial stability. Hope for a cure.
Make sure you don't miss your chance to give hope and double your 2022 gift today. Every $1 becomes $2 to get us closer to ending prostate cancer. Thank you for ensuring patients do not feel alone this holiday season.
Advocacy in Action
In 2022, we have had many allies in Congress helping us on a myriad of prostate cancer-related topics. These range from the Veterans Prostate Cancer Treatment and Research Act to obtaining more funding for CDC prostate cancer activities. It is important that we recognize those allies for their contributions, so we are asking that you please take a moment to send an email to your Congressperson. Doing so can go a long way in encouraging them to do even more in 2023! Just click the link below to thank your legislators for supporting the prostate cancer community.
You are Needed at the Zero Summit
The premier annual event for the prostate cancer community is just over two months away, and we need you there! On February 26-28, the entire community will gather for education, support, togetherness, and advocacy. The event will take place both in person in the Washington D.C. area, and virtually, from any location via computer or smartphone. Registration is open now, so don't wait to sign up to join us. We need you there to make the Summit all it can be!
Celebrate 2023 with ZERO
Join us for the second annual Countdown to Zero New Year's celebration. As part of this special show, we're spotlighting some of the amazing prostate cancer patients and survivors who've shared their personal journeys with Zero in 2022. Plus, there will be a special look at your impact as a donor and a look back at 15 years of Zero's Run/Walk series. You can watch the Countdown to Zero event beginning Friday, December 30 on our Facebook page.
Way To Grow!
Grow & Give has officially wrapped, and $150,000 was raised to Zero out prostate cancer! A huge shoutout to the top fundraisers who knocked it out of the park. Baird nabbed the top spot for the corporate division, raising over $28,000. For the community division, Hops & Handlebars is at #1 with over $10,000 raised. And rounding out the top teams is the top first responder team, Town of Vienna Police Department, who raised almost $6,000. The top individual fundraiser, Warren Macey, raised over $10,000. Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and joined in the mustached, manicured, bearded, and icy-blue-highlighted fun to support prostate cancer patients and families.

Resources for Holiday Stress
Holidays can sometimes be difficult for cancer patients and their families. For those in need of support, please consider attending a zero Us too Support Group. The groups meet regularly, and many are virtual and can be accessed by phone or by internet from any location. Other groups meet in person or offer a hybrid of virtual/in-person meetings. Another good resource is an article from MD Anderson Cancer Center, "Holiday Blues? Four Strategies to Cope," which offers helpful strategies for those affected by cancer. » Read the article.
