Pet owners must also clean up after their pet.

A: Yes. We believe a fit family is a happy family and allow strollers on our course. However, we do have some requirements: you must start in the back, you may not weave through packs of runners, and you must always yield the right of way to other runners.

A: No. Unfortunately due to safety concerns/course limitations, strollers are not allowed on the course with participants. However, we encourage those with strollers to come out and watch the run/walk as spectators.

Registration

Q: What is the difference between donating and registering?

A: A donation is a tax deductible donation made to ZERO - The End of Prostate Cancer. Donations can be credited to a specific team or participant’s fundraising efforts, or credited to the event as a general donation.

A registration is a fee that signs someone up to run/walk on race day at the event or participate in our virtual Snooze for Dudes program. Everyone who wishes to run/walk on race day must register to participate. All registrants receive a tech shirt, personal fundraising webpage, and our eligible for our fundraising incentives. Registration fees are not tax deductible and do not go towards your fundraising goal.

Q: How do I register?

A: Click the Register today button on the bottom of this page and follow the steps to register. If you have any issues, please feel free to reach out us at 1-888-245-9455. You may download and print the registration form by visiting the event homepage and clicking the “Mail-In Registration Form” link under resources. Please mail the form, along with a check in the amount stated on the form, to:

ZERO - The End of Prostate Cancer
Attn: Name of Race
515 King Street, Suite 420
Alexandria, VA 22314

Q: Should I start a team or join as an individual?

A: If you have a friend or family member joining you, please start a team. If you are attending alone, please join as an individual. There is not a minimum requirement for team size.

Q: Is it better to register online or register the morning of the race?

A: There are many advantages to registering before the race. Here are just a couple:

  1. Knowing how many people to expect will help us plan for a better event for everyone. We order all items based on how many people have pre-registered for the event (shirts, water, finish line food, etc...).
  2. Each person that registers will receive a fundraising page within the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk website. This will give friends and family a place to go where they can donate directly to you online or get a donation form and mail a donation directly to us that will be credited to your page. You can also customize this page with a photo and special message about why you’re participating.

Q: I accidentally registered as an individual and meant to join or start a team. What do I do?

A: No problem! If you would like to be added to a team or start your own team, simply send an email to races@zerocancer.org with your name, team name, and what city’s race you’re taking part in.

Q: Online registration is closed. Can I still register?

A: Absolutely! You can register in person during early packet pickup and on race day. Click here for more information.

Q: I already registered as a 5K run participant, but want to walk the 1 mile instead. Can I change my registration fee?

A: Absolutely! We can change your registration type, please email races@zerocancer.org with your requested changes.

Q: I registered and can no longer participate. Can I get a refund?

A: Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds on registration fees. We can convert your registration fee to a tax deductible donation.
