Blue Jackets are Always in Fashion

The Blue Jacket Fashion Show

Tune in to the sixth annual Blue Jacket Fashion Show in support of prostate cancer awareness, Thursday, February 17 at 6:00 p.m. Eastern, webcast live from Moonlight Studios in New York City. The Blue Jacket Fashion Show, founded by fashion designer Frederick Anderson, unites the worlds of fashion, entertainment, sports, healthcare, and media to bring attention to prostate cancer, with an emphasis on racial disparities and underserved communities.

Be sure to watch this year's event featuring ZERO Vice President of Health Equity, Dr. Reggie Tucker-Seeley and ZERO's "We're Not Gonna Take It" campaign spokesperson, Jay Jay French. Other participants will include: NBC Weather Anchor Al Roker; actor Mario Cantone; CNN Anchor Don Lemon; actor Eric West; FOX-5 Meteorologist Mike Woods; and others. You will be amazed to see how stylists and designers reimagine the traditional "blue jacket" that the models will wear on the runway.

Sponsored by Janssen Oncology, the show will benefit Black and Brown communities, who are at highest risk of prostate cancer and who are experiencing additional financial and mental distress due to COVID-19. Janssen Oncology will match donations up to $10,000 made to ZERO between February 10 and March 3.

Tee Off in the Fight Against Prostate Cancer

Love to Golf? Love to have Fun? Join ZERO to Tee Off in the fight against prostate cancer this Spring.

Registration is now open and there's no pressure to have a good golf swing or score a lot of points - it's all about having fun! Proceeds from the event provide assistance to prostate cancer patients and their families through support programs, educational materials, and access to prostate cancer screenings. You can help save lives and keep families together.

Meet Steve Miller

Steve Miller is the Support Group Leader for the Grand Strand Prostate Support Group in Myrtle Beach, SC. Steve is a prostate cancer survivor who was diagnosed in 2008 at 56 years old. He enjoys sharing the latest cancer news with other patients and says that it's "very rewarding when you can help someone who is struggling." Steve credits much of his success to the help and support of his wife Bunny. The Grand Strand group reaches around 40 patients each month. Steve is excited to work with ZERO to raise awareness around prostate cancer and the availability of local support groups.

According to the National Cancer Institute, a biomarker is a biological molecule found in blood, other body fluids, or tissues that is a sign of a normal or abnormal process, or of a condition or disease. Biomarker testing is transforming prostate cancer care and treatment by providing patients and their treatment teams with a vast amount of information on the genomic mutations that drive cancer growth.
