Your generosity was record-setting in June

Incredible. Over the past two months, more than 500 donors opened their hearts and made a donation during the Save a Man matching gift campaign, raising more than $60,000 to help patients get the help they need!

Thanks to your generosity, 240 men will have someone to help carry the load when they need help paying for their life-saving medicine, arranging rides to their doctor appointments, getting financial assistance when bills are piling up, or finding someone to with them in their local area. Make your next cookout a BBQ for Blue

Nothing says summer quite like a backyard BBQ, a time to gather with friends and family to celebrate life together. You may already have a few of them penciled in on your calendar. Why not use this as an opportunity to introduce friends to the cause and raise prostate cancer awareness and create a BBQ fundraiser? It’s as simple as 1-2-3. With just a few minutes of your time you can raise funds that will make a real difference in the lives of men and their families fighting prostate cancer.

"I got this gene mutation from my dad"

After Ed Hoppe learned his prostate cancer was caused by a hereditary gene mutation, Ellen Hoppe found out she had that same mutation. This information combined with the family history of cancer led Ed’s oldest daughter, Emily Madden, to test and see if she had the same mutation as her father and sister. In this video, hear about Emily’s journey to discovering her hereditary gene mutation and the tough decisions she made to decrease her likelihood of developing certain cancers.

It's a Wrap!

Our Spring Run/Walk season was a great success! More than 3,000 donors and participants from seven states were united in the fight to end prostate cancer, raising over $500,000! Thanks to everyone involved! You truly showed patients, survivors, and their families they are not fighting alone.

Looking ahead we have 36 races coming this Fall, so there’s still plenty of time to get involved and make an impact. Find a race near you.

Connect With a Man Who Has Been There

Receiving a prostate cancer diagnosis can be an overwhelming experience, causing stress, anxiety, and fear. We at ZERO understand that newly diagnosed men often want to speak with men who have experience combating the disease. ZERO’s MENtor Program is a free, peer-to-peer support program for men with prostate cancer. MENtees are connected with MENtors who work one-on-one with them to support and guide them through their journey.
