Double Your Donation During #PCAM18
You can make a difference during Prostate Cancer Awareness Month! Thanks to a generous donor, every gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar through September 30th. We need YOUR help to advance research, fund patient support programs, and spread awareness to end prostate cancer. Can we count you in?
Your gift this month goes twice as far to help a man battling prostate cancer. Matching funds will double your donation, up to $25,000! You can donate on our website or on Facebook.
*Note: donations made and designated through Run/Walk or Team ZERO fundraising pages are not eligible for the match.*
Andy Zweig's Legacy
"While in my 20s I met three guys who became my best pals: Andy, Ken, and Ted. At 6'5", Andy was a real mountain of a man, my go-to guy for everything. You can imagine what a gut punch it was when I learned that Andy had prostate cancer. Andy died at age 57 from the disease - he had so much more to give, and should have had so much more life to live! Now, my passion is to do anything I can to continue Andy's legacy and help others from suffering the same fate." - Paul Diamond
Andy may have lost has battle to prostate cancer, but his family and friends aren't giving up on raising awareness and funds to end the disease. In 2018 his widow, Wendy, along with her two friends Sue and Nancy, hosted the first Annual Ripple Run in Andy's honor. Hear more of Andy's story here.
You too can fundraise in honor of someone battling or who has lost their life to prostate cancer; ZERO DIY makes it easy.
VIDEO: This Year, It's Personal
Sanford Siegel, M.D. is the CEO at CUA Opco, LLC and the founder of the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk Series. He was instrumental in the creation of the Run/Walk Series with Chesapeake Urology's first event in Baltimore in 2006. As a prominent leader in the urology space, Dr. Siegel has dedicated his life to helping the prostate cancer community in Baltimore and beyond, and has touched countless lives by going the extra mile to fund research, provide free screenings, and to educate at-risk communities about this disease.
This year, it's personal: Dr. Siegel, a pioneer of prostate cancer care, is now battling the disease himself. We're proud to be standing by him in his fight! Check out this powerful video about his journey.
