Bill Hyde's Prostate Cancer Page
This is only important if you are a man. Or know a man.
One in seven men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer, including more than 180,000 throughout the U.S. this year. While prostate cancer is perceived as an "old man's disease," I had it at 42 and would not have survived past 45 except for a paranoid doctor who was willing to defy the insurance companies and test me anyway. Good thing, too, since I am still here.
Next February, I will be heading to Washington, D.C. to advocate for policies supporting prostate cancer research, access to care, and funding for local cancer prevention and awareness programs.
Your donation will help the hundreds of thousands of men these policies impact every day as well as patient programs that go directly to helping men and their families, free testing, educational programs, and more. $.84 of every dollar goes directly to programs.
ZERO has challenged me to raise $1,000. Please support me by making a tax-deductible contribution today! Thank you!
