As some of you know, two years ago I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Fortunately, I'm one of the lucky ones. I was diagnosed early and treatments have gone well. I'm happy to say that today I'm cancer free, feeling great and ready to join my wife Cheryl and daughter Erin on many more adventures.
And the next adventure is this charity event!
Through the gym I own, ILoveKickboxing.com, I'm sponsoring the Zero Prostate Cancer Run/Walk here in Arlington, VA on June 18th. I'm putting a team together to participate in the event and raise money for this great charity!
PLEASE support me by either JOINING MY TEAM that's walking/running in the race, or MAKING A DONATION to help me reach my Team Goal of $2,500! Or do BOTH! :-) Links to do both are at the top of the page.
It's Father's Day and I can't think of a better way to support the fight to END prostate cancer and recognize all the fathers, sons, husbands, brothers, partners, and friends who might be diagnosed with it this year. One in eight men will be diagnosed in their lifetime, including 3,950 men in Virginia this year alone.
DATE: Father's Day, June 18
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Walk
- Kid's Superhero Dash For Dad
- Virtual Snooze for Dudes
All Chuck's Kickboxer Team Members participating in the event on the 18th will get a special FREE Kickboxing Team shirt to wear during the event. Join me as we KICKBOX prostate cancer's butt!
As the event gets closer, I'll reach out to all team members with details on how to get your t-shirt and where to meet up before the event for a team picture!
