2017 ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Austin

Commissioner's Comrades

This is year 2 of Commissioner's Comrades! Last year was so soon after we lost my sweet uncle so I threw the team together rather quickly. This year, as we are approaching the one year anniversary of losing him, I want to make this yet another opportunity to celebrate him and to contribute to the cause to putting an end to the disease that took him from us too soon!

We had a great turn out last year and I want to make this year bigger and better. We will have shirts made again and I will have that information in the coming weeks on cost for those if you would like to order one. I plan to do another post race gathering (likely at Jack and Ginger's) like we did last year.

Please consider joining us for the race or post race gathering, or both! Glenda and I love being surrounded by those that knew and loved him!

From the Zero team:

One in seven fathers, sons, husbands, brothers, partners, and friends will be diagnosed with prostate cancer, including 13,210 men in TX this year alone.

Our team is participating in the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk because we want to put an end to prostate cancer and I need your support. Please support our efforts by making a tax-deductible contribution today!

Your support provides much needed funds for research, education and awareness, and patient assistance for prostate cancer patients in our local community.

As we cross the finish line of the upcoming ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk, you’ll feel proud knowing you helped save lives and keep families together.

Join us to make a difference in the lives of others as Ron did throughout his life. Let's make this an event where his friends and family can gather and enjoy stories and time together remembering him, while helping bring awareness to prostate cancer.

Whether you are participating in the run or not, please join us after the race at Jack and Ginger's at the Domain. Ron always loved social gatherings, so we didn't want the fun to end after the race. We hope to see you on November 12!
