As a prostate cancer survivor - it will be six years this November since my last treatment (no relapse!!!!) - I know very intimately what it means to be diagnosed, treated, and then to live after the treatment is done. I am very thankful and fortunate that my cancer was detected when it was as I had no symptoms or family history. Had it gone longer without detection I'm not sure what would have happened six years later. I want to do more to help the men and their families to prevent, detect, and treat this disease so that fewer people suffer and lose their lives and fewer families have to deal with the disruption and chaos that cancer can cause.
If you are interested, please consider supporting Team Moon River (just google "Moon River" and "Fletch" - trust me) in the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk because we want to put an end to prostate cancer and we need your support. Please support our efforts by making a tax-deductible contribution today!
Your support provides much needed funds for research, education and awareness, and patient assistance for prostate cancer patients in our local community.
As we cross the finish line of the upcoming ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk, you’ll feel proud knowing you helped save lives and keep families together.
Thanks to everyone for your love and your support!
