It's that time again where I start piling up the miles and putting in the yards to prepare for this years Ironman event for the purpose of raising money and awareness for ZERO Cancer. This year, as in years past, I am offering to prepare a wonderful 5 course (it's actually a little more than that) dinner paired with exceptional wines for the first two donations of $2,500. As well, as a VIP, fully catered Napa, Sonoma or Paso wine country Experience for two couples for a donation of $6000. A $1500 donation will get you a 6 bottle vertical of Ehlers Estate "1886" Cabernet Sauvignon!! Any donation of $1000 will have a choice of any large format bottles of wine in my cellar including a 5ltr of a 2007 or a 3ltr 2006 Roth Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, 1.5ltr of 2007 Etude Heirloom Pinot Noir a Robert Parker 98pnt magnum of Sebastiani Cherryblock and many others. First Come... First Served!
The specifics for this year:
I'm participating in the Ironman Maryland on October 7, 2017 because I want to put an end to the suffering of prostate cancer and I need your support!
For the past five years I have worked with this fantastic organization and seen first hand the impact ZERO has had on men and their families through personal support, medical advocacy and cutting edge technology and treatments.
One in eight fathers, sons, brothers, partners, and friends will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in his lifetime. 161,360 men will be diagnosed in the United States this year. While I can go on and on about the statistics it has little impact in our lives until it hits us personally, which is why I started working with ZERO. In 2011 three of my friends were diagnosed with prostate cancer and one of my training partner's father discovered he had stage 4 prostate cancer. Since then I have raised over $50,000 to help ZERO reach its mission to see the first generation of men with zero diagnosis of prostate cancer.
Will you please support me by making a tax deductible contribution today!
And as I cross the finish line of Ironman Maryland, you'll feel proud knowing you helped keep families together and saves lives.
