Support $110M for Prostate Cancer Research Funding in FY2020

Dear [Congressman/Congresswoman],

I am contacting you to request that you support the House-passed appropriation level of $110M for prostate cancer research at the Department of Defense (DoD). In 2019, over 174,650 men across the United States will be diagnosed with prostate cancer, and over 31,620 more will die of the disease. We can stop these trends with the help of targeted research!

Among American males, prostate cancer is the most-diagnosed cancer and is the third highest cancer-related cause of death. As someone who has been impacted by prostate cancer, I am asking you to urge the Defense Appropriations Conference Committee to use the House-passed Appropriation for the Prostate Cancer Research Program at the DoD Peer Reviewed Prostate Cancer Research Program (PCRP) in the Fiscal Year 2020 DoD Appropriations bill.
