Welcome to My ZERO Peaks Challenge Fundraising Page
I'm taking part in the ZERO Peaks Challenge and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in September 2025 to raise awareness and provide much-needed support for prostate cancer patients, the 2nd most common cancer in men. Please help me in supporting ZERO Prostate Cancer as we grow closer to a world free of prostate cancer deaths.
In 2021, I was diagnosed with Stage 3b prostate cancer which had spread to my pelvic lymph nodes. I underwent surgery, 39 sessions of external beam radiotherapy, and 2 years of androgen deprivation therapy. Although my biomarker is currently undetectable, it's likely my cancer will return at some point.
Black men, Veterans, and men with a family history of prostate cancer are all at significantly higher risk of developing the disease. In fact, Black men are more than 2x as likely to die from prostate cancer than other demographics. ZERO Prostate Cancer supports men like me through patient/survivor and caregiver programs, federal and state legislative advocacy, and awareness efforts to improve early screening and detection.
Every dollar raised supports families impacted by prostate cancer. Your effort brings hope to countless lives. And help to break down barriers to bring us closer to a future free of deaths from this disease. Additionally, every dollar raised through this fundraiser will go directly to ZERO's programs.
