No-Shave November 2018
Every year, I forego shaving for the month of November in honor of Movember, a movement which raises awareness for prostate and testicular cancer. This year, I'm raising money for prostate cancer research as well.
Traditionally, on December 1st, I shave the monstrosity away... but not without having some fun with it. If I worked that day, I'd let co-workers take turns in the catharsis of shaving random lines and shapes on my face. If I had the day off, I would try to come up with as many new styles as possible while slowly returning to facial normalcy. This year, I want to extend a challenge.
Whoever donates the most money will have the opportunity on December 1st to either a) shave/trim my face however they wish (proximity permitting), or b) choose any style in which I must wear my facial hair for 24 hours, and be provided proof that I allowed public viewership of said style.
All money donated will go to Zero, a campaign that provides funding to prostate cancer research, patient programs that go directly to helping patients and their families, free testing, educational programs, and more. 82% of donations received by Zero go directly to the services it provides.
