PSA about your PSA
Grow & Give Starts Today: Let’s Get Growin’!
November kicks off another campaign of fundraising and talking about our health.
Quick update on my end. Still healing up nicely but my PSA has fluctuated a bit recently. Up a little on October 1 and back down a little now at November 1. I only share that as a reminder that we're always gonna battle something. My medical team has helped me understand potential reasons why and been very helpful in keeping this hamster wheel of a brain of mine from spinning out of control.
Feel free to donate if you can. Please talk to loved ones when you can.
I love you all,
Wilby
September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.
I'm gonna bring awareness and an update from the last year.
In November I had a successful prostatectomy. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer earlier in the year. It took some time to warm up to the idea of talking about it very much. I'm healing up nicely and my PSA has gone down. Fingers crossed. I continue to gain confidence in speaking to more and more people. I got a little lucky in finding it early. I want that for my loved ones and yours. So basically everybody.
Donate if you can. Feel free to share if you'd like. Call if you want to talk.
I love you all,
Wilby
Your Donation Is Growing to Save Lives and Support Prostate Cancer Patients
Every 15 minutes, another patient dies from prostate cancer. But together, we are growing to change that. Let's get real: growing a beard might be itchy, but it's nothing compared to the smooth comfort your support provides. Picture the relief on a patient's face when they can afford life-saving treatment or the warm fuzzy feeling a partner gets when connecting with others who understand their journey.
By supporting my Grow & Give fundraiser benefitting ZERO Prostate Cancer, you're not just making a donation – you’re helping to remove the obstacles that stand between patients and the lifesaving care they need, allowing them to focus on what matters most - their health.
I’ll do the growing, will you give?
$50 provides educational guides to patients and caregivers, a resource that helps them manage their prostate cancer journey.
$100 covers the cost of one Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) test, the first step in catching prostate cancer early.
$250 connects a patient to a ZERO360 case manager who provides personalized support to those facing barriers to care, including financial assistance for treatment costs, insurance claims denials, and more.
$500 connects patients with MENtors and support groups.
Can't donate today? No stubble trouble! Spread the word to your network – share this fundraiser and invite your friends to support!
Together, we are growing to save lives!
