Grow & Give 2019

Takoma Park Police Department

One in nine men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer, including more than 174,000 throughout the U.S. this year alone.

The Takoma Park Police Department is teaming up with its officers and civilian staff to support prostate cancer awareness during the month of November.  While law enforcement requirements typically don't allow facial hair (or if they do, it's a very strict growth standard), Takoma Park Police Chief Antonio DeVaul is giving a pass to all staff who donate $50 toward ZERO's Grow & Give campaign.  Together, we can end the suffering of prostate cancer, but we need your support.

In addition, this year, we have invited our female staff to participate by putting a streak of blue in their hair, wearing blue nail polish or just wearing a blue ribbon in their hair, and of course, donating to the cause!

Join our team! Your participation will help raise awareness and your donation will help fund research, patient programs that go directly to helping men and their families, free testing, and educational programs.  Do it for your grandfather, father, uncle, brother, husband, son, et al.

Support our team today! You'll feel proud knowing that you're helping keep families together and saving lives.
