Team PSA: Papa Smurf's Army
One in nine men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer, including more than 174,000 throughout the U.S. this year alone.
Our team name has a very special makeup. The PSA in our team name represents the test used to detect prostate cancer, while Papa Smurf represents a fine man (Tom Brown) whom we lost to this terrible disease. Finally, Army represents our band of brothers and sisters united in the ongoing fight to achieve zero prostate cancer. Like myself, Papa Smurf is a veteran. Him being a Navy guy and myself a Marine! I am Rod, the guy who recently began my battle with prostate cancer and have taken a vow to beat it.
This November, we're putting down the razor and picking up the cause by participating in the Grow & Give campaign with ZERO - The End of Prostate Cancer. Together, we can end the suffering of prostate cancer, but we need your support.
Join our team! Your participation will help raise awareness and your donation will help fund research, patient programs that go directly to helping men and their families, free testing, and educational programs.
Support our team today! You'll feel proud knowing that you're helping keep families together and saving lives!
Our goal says $1,000, but let's raise as much as we can! Let's SMASH that goal!
