Every 15 minutes, a man dies of prostate cancer.

I am an active duty Navy Commander. I have a small Instagram account based around my mustache - I know, I know but it’s a thing. I have had my account for a little over a year dedicated to supporting and defending freedom and mustaches around the world. I have always been an advocate for no shave November however, being active duty we are allotted “MOVEMBER” meaning we can support thru growing out our mustaches provided they stay within regulations. Having had my account now spreading the word about mustaches I want to do more to make a difference through fundraising to both support and raise awareness for men’s health. My grandfather, a World War II and Korean War Navy Veteran, faced his own battle with prostate cancer to include at the time experimental radiation treatment that was able to add years to his life. Something that meant he was able to see me commission in the Navy and serve just as he did. He was the reason I knew, even from a young age, that I wanted to serve. Everyone’s health is important and this year I would like to and make a small difference in raising that support and awareness for all men all over.
