Location: Carrier Park - Picnic Shelter 220 Amboy Road Asheville, NC 28806
Race Day Parking Information: There are approximately 300 parking spaces throughout Carrier Park, so we encourage everyone to car pool to the race. Should you decide to park in one of the neighborhoods near the park (which we don’t encourage), please do not block any driveways or park in commercial areas where you might be towed. There is overflow parking at French Broad River Park and the head of the Hominy Park Greenway (accessible via the Brevard Road/I-240 interchange). Be careful not to keep valuables in your car in plain sight.
ZERO is proud to partner with Asheville Hematology & Oncology, Asheville Urological Associates, and Radiation Therapy Associates of Western North Carolina to end prostate cancer.
The 2018 ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Asheville features a 5K run/walk, 1 mile walk, Kids' Superhero Dash for Dad, and virtual Snooze for Dudes program. Stick around for the family-friendly post-race celebration. Run/walk participants will receive shirts, free food and prizes, and the opportunity to connect with others who are impacted by prostate cancer. All participants 21 and over will receive a free Sierra Nevada beer after the race.
Where the Money Goes
The funds raised from 2018 ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Asheville are invested around the country to provide research for new treatments, free prostate cancer testing, and educate men and families about prostate cancer. No other prostate cancer charity spends more per dollar on programs - more than 85 cents. ZERO puts every donation to good use.
