Wayne Wylie was diagnosed with prostate cancer in August of 2016, several years after losing a kidney to kidney cancer. He received radiation and hormone therapy to eliminate the prostate cancer. In May of 2018, it was determined that he does have castrate resistant prostate cancer that has metastasized to his spine. He is receiving chemotherapy in the form of Zytiga and had 10 days radiation to his spine. He is tolerating both treatments well at this time.
Not long after Wayne's diagnosis, his brother, Bill, was diagnosed with prostate cancer as well. Bill has since finished his radiation treatments and is doing well.
