My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer back in the summer of 2013. During his annual physical exam his doctor suggested that he should do his first PSA test which is a blood test to screen for prostate cancer. His PSA test came back abnormal. His doctor sat him down to give him his options for hoping to get rid of the cancer. My dad chose to do the robotic prostatectomy surgery and to do it on his 31st wedding anniversary which was December 4th 2013. This year will mark his 5th anniversary of being cancer free!!! With early detection men can get rid of this cancer! Thank you Jesus that my dad was able to catch this cancer early on and he will no longer have to worry about this any longer!
