ZERO is proud to partner with Associated Urologists of North Carolina, P.A. to end prostate cancer.
The 2019 ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Raleigh features a 5K run/walk, 1 mile walk, Kids' Superhero Dash for Dad, and virtual Snooze for Dudes program. Stick around for the family-friendly post-race celebration! Nashville recording artist and ZERO Spokesperson Jimmy Charles will perform his hit Superman, the ZERO Cancer anthem dedicated to prostate cancer patients and survivors. Muddy the Mudcat from the Carolina Mudcats baseball team will be making a special appearance. Participants will receive shirts, free food, and the opportunity to connect with others who are impacted by prostate cancer. After the race head over to Honest Abe’s Kitchen & Bar (5433 Wade Park Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27607) from 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. 10% of all food purchases will be donated back to the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk.
Where the Money Goes
The funds raised from 2019 ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Raleigh are invested around the country to provide research for new treatments, free prostate cancer testing, and educate men and families about prostate cancer. No other prostate cancer charity spends more per dollar on programs - more than 86 cents. ZERO puts every donation to good use.
