Our battle with cancer started in 2014 when my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He chose to have his prostate removed within the next few months of receiving the diagnosis. This past September we received news that it was back and that it was now stage 4. It had already spread to his bones, lungs, and brain. He had brain surgery September 3rd, 2018 to remove a tumor. After the surgery, he went to a 24 hour rehabilitation center to gain back his strength. We are thankful for all of the nurses and staff for helping care for him around the clock. On March 14th, 2019 his doctor recommended that he have back surgery to help with the narrowing of his spine. Throughout this process he has had numerous radiation treatments and has now begun chemotherapy. He has been lifted by support of our friends and family throughout this whole process, we cannot begin to express how thankful we are.
Your donation provides much needed funds for research, education and awareness, and patient assistance for prostate cancer patients in our local community.
