Unfortunately I lost my father during his fight.... oh, and did he fight. Many of you may remember #TEAMPETE from the Sacramento race in November 2017. My father was determined to cross the finish line, not in his wheelchair, walking with assistance from others. He did it. He was so proud of that moment and I later found out he wanted that moment to happen for my sister and I to hold onto for years to come.
I'm participating in the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk because I obviously want to put an end to prostate cancer. It took my father, breast cancer took my mother and all we can do is help make others aware of the importance of knowing the signs and how to talk to your doctors about cancer. Please support me by making a tax-deductible contribution today!
Your donation provides much needed funds for research, education and awareness, and patient assistance for prostate cancer patients in our local community. After my dad’s diagnosis he told other men to ask their doctor what their PSA numbers were and guess what, he made a difference in those men’s lives becuase THEY ASKED THEIR DOCTOR! They were diagnosed early on where they can revival treatment and be in remission.
Team up with me to fight prostate cancer; you’ll feel proud knowing you’ve helped save lives. Please support #TEAMPETE AND OUR FAMILY supporting the organization!
#TEAMPETE is put together by his daughter in memory of her dad in order to HELP and SUPPORT ALL Men and boys, (even those that do not comprehend what prostate cancer is yet!) as we all should ALWAYS SUPPORT EACHOTHER!
