Let's raise 200 by Father's Day! For the 200 men who will diagnosed with prostate cancer by this Sunday!
In 2007 I lost my father to prostate cancer. He was 68 years old. He had 8 children, but sadly my children did not get the chance to meet him. What a loss for all of us. This year 300,000 men in the United States will be diagnosed with prostate cancer - that is 821 men a day. 35,000 will die from the disease, that is almost 100 men a day. Your father, brother, son has a 1 in 8 chance of developing prostate cancer in their lifetime. Since my father died there have been so many advanced in prostate cancer testing and treatment. Had such treatments been available when he was diagnosed, he would have met my children.
You can help ZERO out prostate cancer today. I'm participating in the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk to support and celebrate the many inspiring patients and families nationwide who are fighting this awful disease. Please support me by making a tax-deductible contribution today!
Your donation provides much needed funds for research, education, and direct assistance for prostate cancer patients in our local community. Know that your gift will be put to use immediately by helping to fund emotional and financial support resources and assistance programs for prostate cancer patients and families in need during these dire times.
