Team Vreeland is participating in the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk for the third consecutive year to support and celebrate Van: our father, husband, friend, laugh maker, dog whisperer, and truly the best, most selfless human we know.
Your donation will be put to use immediately to help fund emotional and financial support programs for local prostate cancer patients and families in need.
From Van:
My mission is to raise money to help patients in need and to one day find a cure for cancer, but also to bring awareness to the many families that one day might have to fight this battle on a personal level. I was diagnosed with a very aggressive stage of prostate cancer in 2019, and I am now on a lifetime of very expensive medication. The emotional strain to me and my family has been challenging to say the least. 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer during his lifetime. Prostate cancer is the second leading cancer killer for men. Please encourage the men in your life (fathers, sons, brothers, husband, significant others, etc.) to honor their medical checkups. Don't miss an annual physical like I did. Early detection has a very high survival rate.
