Twelve years ago, while working at the local urology practice, I was asked to start a run/walk in the community to raise money and awareness for Prostate Cancer. Together, with ZERO Prostate Cancer, we created the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk Joliet. Twelve years later, we are still doing our best to share this event in the community! One in eight American men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, and through this event, we can raise the funds they need to support them through their journey and promote early detection so that others will take the necessary steps to get screened.

As we prepare for this year's event, I am asking my friends and family to join me in an event that is near and dear to my heart. The men in our community who are fighting this disease need our support!
