Thanks for joining "Brian's Battle" to End Prostate Cancer.
I'm a current battler of prostate cancer, diagnosed at age 49 with Stage IV, very aggressive cancer in February 2016. Since then, I've endured hormonal therapy, chemotherapy, prostate and bladder removal surgery and radiaiton as well as the side effects which go along with them. Though I've been very blessed through all the treatments, I want to block this path I've taken from the next generation by supporting prostate cancer research, advocacy and support.
Additionally, I've had prostate cancer diagnosed in my father and two of his brothers, all in their sixties. So, I estimate your family, too, has been effected by prostate cancer and it's uncertainties. Please join me in honoring those who've gone on before me down this path.
So, I'll be running races throughout the year to inspire others and raise funds. I'll be updating my race schedule & results periodically here. Please check back anytime.
