My Journey to Honu (Ironman 70.3 Hawaii) and the fight against prostate cancer..
One in eight fathers, sons, brothers, partners, and friends will be diagnosed with prostate cancer, including more than 161,000 throughout the U.S. this year alone.
I'm racing with Team ZERO in the 2018 Ironman 70.3 Hawaii, because I want to put an end to the suffering of prostate cancer and I need your support!
My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer just over two years ago and he has been battling the disease valiantly. The stress and turmoil that the process has put on our family, particularly my mother and father as they navigate the different treatments and medications, has been difficult to watch. Then waiting to find out the results of the next PSA test...just praying the number is down with the next treatment... Joining with Team Zero is one way I can show my support and honor my father as he continues the fight and hopefully help in some small way in finding a cure.
Help us get one step closer to Generation ZERO - the first generation of men free from prostate cancer by donating to fund research, partient financial assistance, early detection, and educational programs.
Please support me by making a tax-deductible contribution today! And as I cross the finish line, you'll feel proud knowing you helped keep families together and save lives.
Thank you for your support.
