Welcome to Melissa's Page
One in nine fathers, sons, brothers, partners, and friends will be diagonsed with prostate cancer. Both my late grandfather and father have been affected by prostate cancer. My father received execellent care for 10 years, monitoring his PSA levels, which gave my family hope. When his PSA levels reached a point of concern, he weighed all of his options. In early 2022, he decided to have his prostate removed. He had a generally speedy recovery and since has maintained low PSA levels, which my family & I are extremely thankful for and hopeful that his cancer will not return in the future.
I'm racing the 2023 Chicago Marathon with Team ZERO, because I want to put an end to the suffering of prostate cancer, in honor of my dad!
