Join Me in the Race Against Prostate Cancer in Honor of Bill Wolfe!
Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
Did you know that one in eight fathers, sons, brothers, partners, and friends will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime? That's why, this November, I will be running the TCS New York City Marathon with Team ZERO in order to help put an end to prostate cancer.
I carry with me a powerful inspiration -- my father, Bill Wolfe. Bill's journey with prostate cancer is a testament to resilience, hope, and the importance of early detection and comprehensive care. Bill's experience highlighted the critical need for awareness, education, and accessible healthcare. Despite facing limited treatment options due to a missed diagnosis during a routine exam, Bill refused to accept defeat. Instead, he sought out the experiences of dedicated medical professional who refused to see his diagnosis as a death sentence and lived another vibrant 21 years.
In honor of Bill's legacy and the countless men like him who have faced this disease, I'm dedicating my participation to raise funds for prostate cancer research with Team ZERO. I am thrilled to share that I'll be running alongside (or maybe a bit behind!) my daughter, Sofi. Together we're committed to making a difference in the fight against prostate cancer.
I've pledged to raise at least $3,000 for ZERO. Every donation brings us one step closer to Generation ZERO - the first generation of men free from prostate cancer. Your donation will provide critical funds for research, patient financial assistance, early detection and educational programs. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of prostate cancer patients around the country!
With gratitude,
Jen
