Team Bus Driver Man
Our team is participating in the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk to support and celebrate beloved husband, father, stepfather, father-in-law, grandpa, brother, uncle, friend and colleague John Neyer! The Cincinnati walk will be held on Saturday, June 3 at VOA Park in West Chester, or there is a virtual component for those who aren't local but would still like to participate.
John has been battling prostate cancer for the last several years, and he's not alone: One in eight men will be diagnosed with this disease, including 9,530 men in Ohio this year. We are excited to show John our support and raise funds for an organization that provides research, education and direct assistance for prostate cancer patients in our local community.
Wondering where the team name comes from? Years ago, John and Tina took the kids on a family vacation to the west. On a boring stretch of prairie, the kids started singing a song they made up on the fly about John. It morphed into the great acapella round about the bus driver man. The song can still be heard periodically at family gatherings. So here we are, all these years later: Team Bus Driver Man.
