Please join us at the Inaugural Andrew Zweig Ripple Run and fight for a cure! The event features a chip timed 5K run/walk on a USATF certified course.
Andrew Zweig was a lifelong resident of Rockland County. An imposing physical presence with a 6’5” frame who gave of himself to everyone he touched. When Andy was diagnosed with prostate cancer at 50 years old, he channeled that fighting spirit to overcome the biggest challenge of his life.
For the next eight years, Andy fought.
He fought for a cure for himself and his family.
He fought for a cure so he could continue to live every day to the fullest.
He fought for a cure so his grandchildren wouldn’t have to know this cancer.
Andy lost his battle in 2017, but left behind a legacy of giving.
Let us continue that legacy; help us honor and cherish his memory so his dedication to the cause will never be forgotten.
