NeoGenomics Laboratories

November is Men’s Health Awareness Month and NeoGenomics is showing its commitment to helping patients with prostate cancer by getting involved with Zero - To End Prostate Cancer and their campaign Grow and Give.

NeoGenomics is doing its part to help raise awareness and provide more testing options for prostate cancer to help increase survival rates. NeoGenomics offers a number of prostate focused tests, some of which are mentioned below:

NeoLAB Prostate Liquid Biopsy: Innovative, non-invasive liquid biopsy test that uses biomarkers in both blood and urine to assess prostate cancer risk. This test can be ordered after a patient receives an elevated PSA result, or at any time throughout the diagnostic process to determine the risk of the patient having high grade prostate cancer. Prostate biopsies can be avoided in some cases, and in others biopsies should be performed to be sure the cancer is detected.

AR: Genetic mutation that predicts resistance to drugs that are given for castration resistant prostate cancer. This testing is recommended along with PTEN by FISH for evaluating prognosis.

HSD3B1: Distinguish patients with high probability of developing castration resistant prostate cancer. Escalated therapy early in the disease is recommended for positive patients.

Please join our team! Your participation will help raise awareness and your donation will help fund research, patient programs that go directly to helping men and their families, free testing, and educational programs.
